An Experience Worth Leaving the House For

There’s now another good reason for me to visit Shanghai.

The Porsche Experience Centre, Shanghai.

Spanning over 100,000 square metres, this is Porsche’s first experience centre in Asia. No prize for guessing why it is in Shanghai.

China is now the largest individual market for Porsche.

What can we do at the Shanghai’s experience centre?

For a start, there are over 50 Porsche cars for you to test drive. Nothing surprising. But what if I say you’ll be “racing” in a purpose-built, Porsche-designed circuit that even allows you to experience driving on ice all year round? You can also make an appointment with one of the 12 Porsche instructors to get a personalised driving experience.

And if the above 90-minute on-track racing experience is not enough, there are also six racing simulators that offer an almost real circuit experience.

Can’t get enough of it? There are also restaurants, a café, merchandise store and an exhibition to complete your Porsche experience.

This is definitely one good experience that’s worth leaving the house for. Even if you’re not a Porsche fan, for now.
