When she is not knee-deep micro-philosophising, Angeline enjoys travelling, looking out for the latest tech, visiting museums and galleries, watching documentaries, reading biographies and people watching. She also enjoys intellectual and philosophical discussions to understand and learn from different perspectives. Once a while, she indulges in binge-watching drama series (alone; so that no one will ask questions). But her real super ability is sleeping for a long, long time without waking. Her record? 20 hours!

Angeline has a Master of Education (Human Development & Psychology) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in Museum Studies from Harvard University.

Did you know that standards are all around us?

Standards are guidelines that help businesses deliver high-quality and safe products and services.

In other words, they enable us to enjoy a better quality of life. Examples are the ISO standards that you often see printed on product packaging.

HOL is proud to have curated A Nation Built on Trust, A World of Opportunities, an exhibition on standards and conformance organised by SPRING Singapore.

Through this exhibition, we uncover some of the diverse ways standards have impacted everything from bicycles and paper sizes to safety work gear and dairy products.

We also tell the stories of how Singapore businesses, thanks to their use of standards, have become trusted by customers around the world and gained access to global markets.
